To issue the regular entry visa, you can use the help of local travel agencies (should be the quickest option), or apply directly to the embassy with the following:
Independent tourist (B2) visa
A Chinese citizen who wants to travel Israel by himself without help from a local travel agency is required to submit following:
• A travel document valid for at least six months beyond the durations of stay in Israel.
• A completed and signed application form.
• Two 5cm X 5cm photographs.
• Original confirmation letter from the applicant’s work place.
• Travel itinerary, hotel booking, and a confirmed round trip airline tickets to and from Israel.
• Fee payment receipt from CITIC Bank (145 RMB).
• Bank Statement for recent 3 months.
Exceptions:
A bank guarantee is not required if:
• The applicant has a visa in his passport from USA of Schengen countries.
• The applicant is a registered resident of Beijing, Shanghai or Guangzhou.
*The passport, visa application form, fee receipt, and attached documents are to be mailed to the embassy. The passport will be returned mailed back to the applicant.
**Visa and mailing fees are to be paid in a CITIC Bank branch and the receipt should be mailed to the embassy with the application form and required documents.
Should they are expected to stay longer in Israel, preform any actual business activity on behalf of a Chinese company, will require multiple entries etc. then it would indeed be preferable to continue with a business visa.
business visas to Chinese nationals are subject to a new protocol (5.3.0009) as of 2.11.15. This will require the following:
Business visa:
• A passport valid for at least 18 months.
• A completed and signed application form including a declaration regarding previous visits to Israel and a commitment to exit and not preform any work activity in Israel.
• Police clearance certificate
• Medical clearance certificate (Yellow card)
• Updated company certificate confirming the Chinese entity on behalf the assignee is requesting the visa, is indeed active and listed at least 18 months prior to application.
• Support letter from the Chinese company with the following: Personal details (as in passport); Position* (must be an owner, manager or other employee tasked with management or development of the company’s’ business ventures); Detailed description of the expected activity – companies, authorities and individuals, with whom he is expected to meet and/or has business relations with in Israel; purpose of visit and desired duration (entry & exit dates);
*If the company is also owned by the assignee – attach a formal confirmation of ownership.
• Invite letter & relevant supporting documents from the Israeli company/authority confirming he will not be arriving to work, and a clear description of the purpose of the visit.
• Two 5cm X 5cm photographs.
Fee payment receipt from CITIC Bank (145 RMB).
Upon submission, Consulate may take up to 30 days to examine the application. If approved, a 3 months B-2 business visa will provided.
